A tour of Coast Barn

Coast Barn is a holiday cottage with a difference. Beautifully furnished in a contemporary coastal style by the interior design company PHI. It is a haven of calm colours, with little design touches and an attention to detail to make your stay thoroughly enjoyable. We always supply a bottle of wine, fresh flowers or flowering spring bulbs and a pint of local milk ready for your arrival.

Lounge area

Comfortable sofa & denim armchair with scatter cushions, wall mounted TV/DVD player, woven fibre coffee table, side table, wall and floor lamps all on a reclaimed oak floor.

Dining area

Freestanding painted larder cupboard, Rattan dining chairs and painted metal dining table.

Kitchen area

Freestanding stainless steel range cooker, splashback and hood. Cream Retro 'Smeg' fridge with icebox. Painted cupboard with inset Butler sink and oak worktop. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality cookware, cutlery, utensils, glasses, bakeware and crockery. A microwave oven is also provided as well as a toaster and electric kettle. Understairs cupboard with Hoover, iron and ironing board and general cleaning equipment.

Bedroom

Cream painted cast iron bed with quality tufted mattress, Duvet, 4 pillows, cotton Duvet cover and pillowcases. Large white cotton bedcover and wool check throw, 2 scatter cushions. Cream double painted wardrobe with wooden hangers and 2 drawers below. Bedside tables with lamps. Airing cupboard with 2 shelves.

Bathroom

Large bath with handheld shower and over bath shower, basin and WC. A set of 1 hand and 1 bath towel is provided for each person per week.

Other facilities

We provide 2 folding outdoor chairs, washing machines and tumble dryer (chargeable) are available in the laundry/games room in the courtyard. Games room contains tabletennis, darts board, playing cards, dominoes and scrabble are provided in the barn.

A tennis court is available in the grounds (please note we do not provide tennis racquets or tennis balls).

Washing up and cleaning equipment, tea-towels, 2 toilet rolls, handsoap, milk, fresh flowers and a complimentary bottle of wine are also included.
